How UNCHARTED: Fortune Hunter Can Work Solo
Whether you’re planning on buying UNCHARTED 4 or not, UNCHARTED: Fortune Hunter offers incredible gameplay for all fans
Gaming fans around the world have been waiting with bated breath for the May 10th release of UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End. This week, the game’s developer released an Android app game called UNCHARTED: Fortune Hunter to accompany this major release. While Fortune Hunter can be paired in several ways with its namesake, it’s becoming a critically acclaimed mobile game in its own right. In fact, Fortune Hunter seems to work very well as a standalone game, with or without the UNCHARTED 4 pairing.
Take on the Adventure
Fortune Hunter includes a lot of problem solving, with a wide range of puzzles to tackle. The game’s many challenges are laid out on a handdrawn map where users can track their progress. With over 200 missions, the map continues to grow, and while the first few missions are fairly simple (with tutorials provided), tasks get more challenging as the game progresses.
While Fortune Hunter’s graphics and dynamic gameplay have been given very positive reviews, some critics can’t let go of the fact that UNCHARTED: Fortune Hunter was released so fans of the PlayStation game series could indulge in a companion game that syncs to their PlayStation system upon purchasing UNCHARTED 4. But, according to Gamezebo’s Rob Rich, who gave Fortune Hunter 4 out of 5 stars, “…while Fortune Hunter is undeniably a puzzle game about loot collecting, it’s different enough (and good enough) to stand on its own.”
If you want to connect Fortune Hunter to the UNCHARTED 4 PlayStation game, you can do so by signing into your PlayStation account. Doing so will transfer your app’s multiplayer outfits, relics, and more, to the console game.
While some critics are questioning the longevity of this Android puzzle game, considering its tie-in to the PlayStation platform, most everyone agrees it’s worth checking out regardless. With six unique adventures to try, 50+ treasures hidden across four separate worlds, and numerous rewards to unlock, it makes sense to take part. Whether you plan on purchasing UNCHARTED 4 or not, this actionpuzzle game is worth your while.
So, whether you’re a dedicated UNCHARTED fan or not, you’ll have plenty to pique your interest if you download Fortune Hunter. But, if you’re planning on buying the PlayStation game, checking out Fortune Hunter can lead to even greater benefits. After all, why not gain all the rewards you can in the Android app, so there’s even more to enjoy in the console game. Already playing? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
