But if drawing has never been your strong suit, don’t worry — Google’s new app, AutoDraw, can turn all of your drawings into masterpieces. If you’re looking for a new drawing app, you can use AutoDraw to impress your friends and family with your suddenly incredible drawing skills. Well, technically you’ll be impressing them with other artists’ incredible skills.

You can use Google’s AutoDraw on your Android or on your computer. The AutoDraw app can be a great way to improve online invitations, cards, or other projects. You could even use it to create a coloring book for a child, or have a child create his or her own coloring book. Ultimately, the goal of Google’s AutoDraw is to make drawing more enjoyable for everyone.

Read More: The Digital Traveler: Capture More Memories

How to Use Google’s AutoDraw

Google’s AutoDraw is, essentially, a form of “autocorrect” for your drawings. It uses intelligent software that analyzes what you are trying to draw, and then suggests a “correction.” This correction is an improved version of the image you’re trying to draw, courtesy of talented artists. For example, if you are trying to draw a bicycle, Google’s intelligent software will understand that, and allow you to replace your image with a bicycle drawn by an artist.

This tool makes drawing and doodling much more efficient. You’ll no longer have to spend 20 minutes trying to draw the perfect car or tree. Instead, you can simply replace your poorly-drawn image with a better-looking version instantly. However, if you want to, you can also use AutoDraw to draw imperfect images — you don’t have to correct them.

Artists can submit their own drawings to be featured on AutoDraw. Google plans to add many more images over time, but they currently feature hundreds of different images. Artists and users of AutoDraw alike can also request certain images to be featured.

A New Take on Quick, Draw!

Google’s Quick, Draw! app is an intelligent drawing game. The object of the game is to have the computer guess what you’re drawing before the clock runs out of time. You’ll only have 20 seconds for the AI to recognize your drawing. Google’s AutoDraw uses this same technology in its suggestion tool. However, there is still room for improvement with AutoDraw, as it only has hundreds of images in its database. You may draw a decent image that the AI doesn’t recognize because it doesn’t have the correct suggestion in the database. As more artists add images to AutoDraw, the app should quickly improve — and become much more fun.

Not great at coloring inside the lines?
