It\u2019s important to know when to block a number that may be harassing you or targeting you as part of a marketing scam. We\u2019ve all experienced that person who simply won\u2019t stop calling, whether it is spam callers or an ex who\u2019s still hung up on you.

When to Draw the Line Spam calls continue to increase year by year. If you’re getting bombarded by marketers, warn them to no longer call or you’ll report them. If they persist, report them or simply block them to gain some peace and a quiet phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Do Not Call Registry Doing so will give you an increased sense of privacy as continuous calls from marketers and scammers can be reported. You can also sign up by calling 1-888-382-1222 from the phone you want to register. <\/p>\n\n\n\n How to Block Someone on Android There are some devices such as the Google Pixel and Pixel XL that run Android 6.0 Marshmallow or later that has clear instructions on blocking calls. When in the Phone app, go to the more options<\/em> icon next to the icon. Then go to Settings, Call Blocking and tap the number you want to block. You can also \u2018Report\u2019 call as spam<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>When it comes to a personal caller such as an ex, even weekly calls can be painful so draw a firm line with them. For your sanity, block him or her if they continue contacting you and making things awkward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>If you\u2019re constantly being harassed by marketers, sign up with the National Do Not Call Registry. On DoNotCall.gov<\/a>, you can register up to three numbers or check if your number is already there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
