If that sounds too complicated, don\u2019t worry. The program is designed to cater to people who have little to no experience with complex technology, programming, or app development. You\u2019ll be able to develop your skills from the ground up, and start making a difference in no time at all!<\/p>\n

The program is primarily for people who want to use their skills to make a difference in society. For example, two users, named Charles Tommo and Arpy Vanyan, have already used their app-creating skills to raise awareness for malaria prevention, and the sometimes-blinding eye disorder, Retinopathy of Prematurity. If you receive the same education they did, there\u2019s nothing stopping you from creating equally beneficial apps!<\/p>\n

Your education doesn\u2019t have to stop with the basics, either. Once you graduate from the Nanodegree program, you\u2019ll also have the option to take the Career-Track Android Nanodegree program for intermediate developers, and from there, you can take the advanced program of the same name. With the knowledge you gain from all three courses, you\u2019ll be well on your way to jump-starting a successful career as an app developer, if you so choose!<\/p>\n
