Odds are, new scams will be variations on these classic themes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With Simoni\u2019s advice in mind, we present you with <\/span><b>2021\u2019s Top Digital Threats in the USA:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><b>Phishing and False Promotions<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAccording to an analysis by our experts,\u201d Simoni observes, \u201cthe most popular scams in the USA in 2021 are fake offers \/ false promotions and phishing scams.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Between 01\/01\/2021 until 04\/13\/2021 PSafe detected and blocked both of these types of scams more than a million times each:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">False payouts: 1,077,233 blocks<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Phishing: 1,033,210 blocks<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>For PSafe the total of blocks in the USA between 01\/01\/2021 and 04\/13\/2021 were: 2,843,539 blocks<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>How these attacks work: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Basically, the victim accesses a website that says he is raffling some kind of prize (like smartphones, for example) and inputs requested data.
