  2. Find the \u201cAndroid\u201d button in the app.<\/li>\n
  3. Tap the \u201caction overflow button\u201d in the top right corner and click on settings (This is in the lower right corner on the iOS).<\/li>\n
  4. Click \u201cAccount.\u201d<\/li>\n
  5. Tap the checkmark on the right of \u201cshare my account info\u201d so it deselects. You will then get a warning message stating \u201cAre you sure you don\u2019t want to use your WhatsApp account information to improve your Facebook ads and products experiences? If you tap \u201cDon\u2019t Share,\u201d you won\u2019t be able to change this in the future.\u201d<\/li>\n
  6. If you desire, click \u201cDon\u2019t Share.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    They\u2019re not kidding about not being able to change the settings in the future. Once you click \u201cdon\u2019t share,\u201d there\u2019s no going back.<\/p>\n
