Final Fantasy VII Now Available for Android

Final Fantasy VII may be one of the most popular role-playing games that is available today. However, until recently, it could not be played from Android devices. That changed in July of 2016 when Final Fantasy VII finally became available for download from the Google Play store so that Android users could enjoy the game on their device.

Many Android device users have been waiting for the release of Final Fantasy VII and they final got it in July. Final Fantasy VII for Android boasts the same 3D visuals that made the PC version of the game a huge success. The graphics are simply adapted for the Android touchscreen. Downloading and installing the game on an Android device requires 4GB of storage space for installation and 2GB for storage after the installation process has been completed. The app requires Android 4.1 or later to be installed.

Shortcomings of Final Fantasy VII for Android

One significant negative with the Android version of Final Fantasy VII is that this version of the game has bugs that the user may encounter at some point during play. Players need to manually save and restart the game if it stops working properly due to bugs.

Although Android 4.1 is required to download and install the game, Android 4.3 or higher is recommended. Furthermore, there is a short list of recommended Android devices from which the game is best played. This list is provided by Square Enix, the maker of the game, and can be found through their website.
