How the Course Works

Before you purchase the course, you can preview a selection of initial lectures to see if the course is right for you. The course includes a combination of videos and articles. There are 22 different course sections, or main lecture topics. The sections include: an introduction to the course, Android Studio, Java Deep Drive, media on Android, advanced Android features, maps and geolocation, permanent data storage, cloning of various apps, marketing techniques, and more.

In order to learn how to make your own apps, you’ll need to understand how other popular Android apps were created. You’ll first learn to use Java and Android Studio (with help from your PC) to create simple apps, such as a currency converter and a brainteaser app, and then eventually clone apps like WhatsApp, Uber, Flappy Bird, Twitter, and Instagram. In addition, as you work your way through the course, you’ll create your own app as you go. That way, you can quickly put your knowledge to work and immediately apply it to your app. Once your app is completed, the course will provide you with a guide on how to submit your app to the Play store. It’ll also help you to market your app, learn SEO best practices, and receive money through Google Adwords. As a bonus, the course even includes an introduction to Android Wear.
