To change the unlock method:
You can create a shortcut on your home screen to get quick access to dfndr performance.
To put a dfndr performance icon on your home screen, follow these steps:
1- Select the menu 
and choose “Settings” 
.
2- Select “Create icon on the main screen”.
This will add the icon for dfndr performance to your home screen.
There are two options to uninstall dfndr performance:
You can uninstall the app using Google Play Store:
1- Open the Play Store app and select menu .
2- Select “My apps & games” then go to “Installed”.
3- Tap the icon for dfndr performance.
4- Tap “Uninstall”.
5- Tap “Ok” to confirm.
Or you can uninstall using Android Settings:
1- Open Android Settings .
2- Select “Apps”.
3- Choose dfndr Performance and select “Uninstall”.
4- Select “Ok” to confirm.
In order for dfndr security to work properly on your Android device, it requires the acceptance of a few Android’s permissions.
For example, location permission is required to enable the Anti-Theft feature to locate your phone if it is lost or stolen. Another example will be the storage permission, which is necessary so that the Antivirus can scan all the files on your cell phone and detect some threats.
Please note that dfndr does not have access to your device’s personal information or data displayed when using its features.
No. Our app does not access or store your personal information without your permission.
Information is only requested so that the dfndr security app can protect you and improve the performance of your cell phone. When you accept the permissions, your information is protected by dfndr security, and no one will have access to your information.
Without accepting the necessary permissions, dfndr security will not be able to execute all its features properly.
Depending on which permissions you decline, your smartphone may be exposed to threats, phishing scams and hacking attacks. The app may also not be able to free up additional space on your device.
When you install dfndr security on a phone with an Android 6.0 operating system (or higher), you can control which information the app can access. These are called permissions.
For example, in order to find your phone in case it is lost or stolen, you’ll need to give the dfndr security app permission to use the “Location” function. This way dfndr security can give you information about your cell phone’s current location.
Notification Manager is a feature in dfndr security that allows you to control which notifications you’ll receive from other apps on your device. This is especially useful if you receive a lot of notifications and want to clean up the number of notifications you receive.
To activate this function on your cell phone you can click here or you can follow these steps:

If you forgot Applock’s pattern or password, you can create a new one by following these steps:
1- Open the app, tap on the Tools tab and then select Applock (click from a smartphone).
2- Tap on the “Options” (
) button at the top right corner.
3- Select “Forgot your password?”.
4- Tap “Login with Google”.
5- Enter the email and password used to activate Applock.
6- Now you will be able to create a new pattern or numeric password.
WiFi Check is a tool that allows you to test the speed and security of a WiFi network. The WiFi Check feature verifies the download speed, DNS security, and network security.
To use this feature, follow the steps below:
1- Open dfndr security and tap on Tools tab.
2- Select the Wifi Check feature (click from a smartphone).
3- Wait a few seconds while the system performs the check.
The result screens will then be displayed after the check completes.
To prevent dfndr security from being uninstalled by unauthorized third parties, you can enable the Device Administrator permission.
To activate this permission, follow the steps below:
1- Open Android settings (gear/engine icon)
2- Security or “Lock screen and Security”
3- “Device Administrators” or “Other security settings”
4- Device Administrators
5- Find dfndr security on the list and select it to enable this permission
After it’s enabled, dfndr security cannot be uninstalled from your device.

dfndr security’s Anti-hacking feature allows you to identify potentially dangerous links before clicking on them. Whenever you encounter a message containing suspicious content, dfndr security promptly sends a security alert, empowering you to make informed decisions about your online activities.
To enable or disable the Anti-hacking, follow these steps below:
1- Open dfndr security
2- Touch on Tools 
;
3- Select “Antihacking 
4-Activate the required permissions* to enable the function.
*Important: If you are receiving constant alerts to activate Anti-Hacking even after you have already activated the Accessibility permission of dfndr security, please follow these steps
As a precaution, it is not possible to recover files deleted by the cleaning features in dfndr performance.
dfndr performance will never delete any files without first getting your permission.

Performance Assistant is designed to alert you when there are apps running in the background in order to optimize your phone’s performance. To use this function, follow the steps below:
1- Open dfndr performance and tap menu
2- Select “Settings”
3- Select “dfndr Performance Assistant”
4- Select “Activate now”
5- Tap “Turn On” to grant your phone Accessibility Permissions.
6- Locate dfndr performance on the list of apps, and tap it
7- Toggle the switch to ON
You have now successfully activated Performance Assistant!
To disable Performance Assistant, simply slide the green button to the left turning it gray.
With the Duplicate Photos cleaner (click from a smartphone) feature, you can remove duplicate photos from your gallery to free up storage. To access this feature, open dfndr security and follow the steps below:
1- Tap on Tools tab and select Duplicate Photos (click from a smartphone).
2- Wait while dfndr security scans your phone for duplicates.
3- The app will then show you all the duplicate photos and suggest one of them to delete. You can always uncheck any images that you do not want to delete.
4- To delete, tap on “Delete pictures”.
5- Read the confirmation messages and Confirm.
If you can’t find your subscription :
1. Check that you’re signed in to the correct account. Make sure to sign in to the Google Account that has your subscriptions. Learn how to add an account or switch accounts.
2. Keep in mind that the email you used with the subscription app may be different from your Google Account.
3. Check your other email accounts and find the receipt of the subscription to locate where you added the subscription.
4. Check with your family members. You may have used a family member’s account to subscribe.
You can find your active subscriptions on the Google Play Store by following these steps:
1- Open Play Store app and tap the menu .
2- Select “Account”.
3- Tap “Subscriptions”. This is where you can view all your purchases.
When you successfully subscribe, you will get an e-mail from Google Play confirming your subscription.
You can also verify if you have an active subscription in the dfndr performance app by tapping on the menu and selecting “Upgrade to Ads-free”.
If it shows you have an ACTIVE subscription, your purchase is confirmed.
Please know that dfndr security is a free app. You only have to pay in case you want to use the Premium functions.
To be able to uninstall dfndr security, you must first disable the Device administrator permission.
If you activated a subscription and want to cancel to avoid being charged, remember that you can use a free version of dfndr security and do not need to uninstall to cancel a subscription. Uninstalling the application does not cause the cancellation of the charge which is linked to your Google account (to cancel, please go to your Google Play account).

You can see all your active subscriptions on the Google Play Store app. To cancel a subscription, follow the steps below:
1- Access Play Store app menu and tap “Account”.
2- Select “Subscriptions”.
3- Now you can cancel your dfndr performance Ads-Free subscription easily, by tapping “Cancel”.
4- Confirm the cancelation.
Our app sends notifications to alert you when a feature can be used to optimize your phone’s performance and free up memory or storage.
Notifications are also used to keep you updated about important dfndr performance news and updates.
You can always turn off notifications by tapping on the Menu in the top left > then tap on Settings.
Locate Notifications under settings, this is where you can toggle On/Off any notifications you want to receive for dfndr performance related to Storage or Battery & Internet.
Toggle to the switch to the RIGHT to turn them ON, or to the LEFT to turn them OFF.
Please note that it is not possible to recover files removed by dfndr security cleanup functions such as Duplicate Photos, Whatsapp Cleanup and Messenger Cleanup. For security reasons and out of respect for our user’s privacy, there is no trash for this type of cleaning, and therefore the files are permanently deleted.
Anyway, don’t worry, dfndr security DOES NOT delete any files without your authorization. The actions performed by our app always depend on our user’s confirmation.
You can install dfndr security by following these steps:
1- Open the Google Play Store app on your phone.
2- Tap on the search bar at the top of the store and type “dfndr”. Then select dfndr security – Privacy & Boost.
3- Select “Install“.
4- After reading the required permissions, touch “Accept“.
5- Wait for the download to complete.
dfndr security has been installed! Now you can use it to protect your device.
To enable the Lockscreen Charge Monitor on your device, please just click here or open the dfndr security app and follow the steps below:
1- Touch the menu .
2- Select “Settings” .
3- Touch “Lockscreen Charge Monitor”.
4– Select “Enable”.
To disable it, head to the app Settings, select the Lockscreen Charge Monitor, then slide the toggle “Enabled” to the left and select “Accept” to confirm.
Lockscreen Charge Monitor is a feature in dfndr battery that monitors the status of your battery while your phone is charging and indicates steps to prevent overcharging.
To use it, you first have to grant dfndr battery Accessibility permissions. After that, open the app and touch the Menu in the top left corner > Select “Settings” > and then find “Lockscreen Charge Monitor”.
Slide the button to the right to enable it, or to the left to disable it.
dfndr vpn is an app that allows you to connect to the internet with a secure connection through a Virtual Private Network, which protects your data from hackers. Connecting to a VPN encrypts your internet connection. This allows your browsing to stay private, stay secure, and gives you access to the online content you want – no matter where you are.
It is possible that a connection through dfdnr vpn is not available because your device has no internet access. You should first verify that you have an internet connection.
If you are a non-premium user and have reached the 200MB per day data limit, your connection will be interrupted and stop once you hit the daily data limit.
Changing your virtual location is a benefit of Premium. You’re must subscribe in order to use this Premium feature.
If you activated the 7-day trial subscription, you will automatically become a premium user once the trial has ended and you will be able to enjoy all the premium features.
You can find all your active subscriptions on the Google Play Store by following the steps below:
1- Open Google Play Store and tap on the menu and then touch “Account”.
2- Tap on “Subscriptions”.
3- Here you can easily cancel dfndr vpn subscription by touching “Cancel”.
4- Confirm the cancelation.
dfndr security has a shortcut that allows you to open the app from your device’s notifications window and provides quick access to other features like Boost Memory, Quick Cleanup, Flashlight, Camera and more!
If you want to enable/disable dfndr security’s shortcut on your notifications bar, follow the steps below:
1- Open dfndr security’s and access the menu .
2- Select “Settings” .
3- Find “Widget in the notification bar” and slide the switch to the left to enable it or to the right to disable it.
